Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Each learner must register with their own, unique email address.
2. Cancellations within 14 days of the class date are charged in full. A make-up or reschedule may be requested within 14 days of the cancellation and must be attended within 2 months of the cancellation date. The rescheduled class must be of equal or higher value than the original.
3. Each learner may make up or reschedule once per course at no extra charge, within the times in clause 2. A second reschedule is possible only at the full course fee, paid before the move. Make-up or rescheduled classes that are not attended are charged in full and are not eligible for HRD Corp funding.
4. If 1 Accelerate cancels your class, you may choose either an alternative date or a full refund of the amount paid.
5. HRD Corp funding is available to Malaysian citizens only.
6. Cancellations made more than 14 days before the class will be eligible for a refund, less any costs incurred for the booking.
7. A learner who does not attend, or who leaves before the class ends, is charged in full. A make-up may be requested under clause 2.
8. Refund requests are made in writing to contact@1acceleratesb.com. Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 28 working days.
9. Course materials issued to a learner are non-refundable. Once an e-book code has been opened, the booking is no longer eligible for a refund, including cancellations made more than 14 days before the class.
10. We may remove a participant who does not follow safety instructions or the trainer's directions, without refund.
11. For HRD Corp-funded bookings, amounts claimed will be made in line with HRD Corp's guidelines.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

- Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating our website and conducting our business

Certificate Verification
Each certificate we issue has a verification link. It shows the certificate number, course, dates and status, and never your NRIC/MyKad, passport number or contact details.

We keep your information for as long as it is needed for your certification and as required by law and by the accreditation bodies.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia), you have the right to:

Eligibility
Bookings must be made by someone aged 18 or over. Learners under 18 may attend with the written consent of a parent or guardian.
Account Registration
When you register for our courses, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
Training Courses and Certification
Course Participation
- Participants must attend all scheduled sessions
- Practical assessments must be completed successfully
- Written examinations (where applicable) must meet the minimum passing grade
- Participants must comply with safety guidelines and instructions
Certification
Certification is issued upon successful completion of all course requirements. Certification validity periods are determined by the respective accreditation bodies (AHA, ITLS, NAEMT, etc.).

Course Cancellation by Company
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered:
- Transfer to another scheduled course
- Full refund of course fees
Intellectual Property
All course materials, content, and resources provided by 1 Accelerate Sdn Bhd are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any materials without written permission.
Liability and Disclaimers
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1 Accelerate Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services.
Medical Disclaimer
Our courses provide emergency medical training for educational purposes. Participants should use their judgment and follow local protocols when applying skills learned in real-life situations.
Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to:
- Treat instructors and fellow participants with respect
- Arrive on time and be prepared for all sessions
- Maintain a professional and safe learning environment
- Follow all safety protocols and instructions
We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates this code of conduct without refund.
